Custom-made from quality Paulownia timber, Timber Eco provides a premium alternative to Fauxwood for homeowners who appreciate natural materials and want their window furnishings to become an integral part of the interior design.

Combining beautiful timber character with adjustable louvres and custom configurations, Timber Eco delivers an elegant balance of style, privacy, light control and everyday functionality.

Genuine Timber Character

Natural timber brings a warmth and individuality to an interior that makes it particularly appealing for premium homes and renovations.

Timber Eco is manufactured using furniture-quality Paulownia timber, selected to provide an attractive and even texture across the finished shutters.

Whether you choose a painted or stained finish, the result is a sophisticated plantation shutter that can complement both contemporary and traditional interiors.

Painted or Stained Finishes

One of the major advantages of choosing genuine timber is the ability to incorporate the shutters into the wider material palette of your home.

Timber Eco is available in painted, stained and lacquered finishes, giving you the flexibility to create anything from crisp, contemporary shutters through to a warmer natural timber appearance.

Stained finishes can highlight the character of the timber itself, making Timber Eco particularly attractive in interiors featuring timber flooring, natural furniture and other organic materials.

Three Louvre Sizes

Timber Eco Plantation Shutters are available with a choice of 63mm, 89mm and 114mm blades.

Different louvre sizes can significantly influence the finished appearance of your shutters.

Smaller blades can create a more detailed traditional aesthetic, while wider louvres can produce a cleaner, more contemporary appearance with broader views between the blades.

The appropriate option will depend on your window dimensions, interior style and personal preference.

Control Light, Airflow & Privacy

Plantation shutters allow you to adjust the atmosphere of your room throughout the day.

Tilt the louvres to introduce natural light while maintaining privacy, open them further to maximise light and airflow, or close the shutters when greater privacy is required.

This flexibility makes Timber Eco suitable for living areas, bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices and feature windows throughout the home.

Naturally Insulating Timber Shutters

Timber Eco also provides practical benefits beyond appearance.

Pacific describes the range as a good insulator, helping homes remain cooler during summer and warmer during winter.

For Gold Coast homeowners, this provides another practical advantage while retaining the premium appearance of genuine timber window furnishings.

Designed for Durability

Timber Eco is designed to provide greater stability than many conventional natural timber shutter products.

Pacific specifically describes the material as resistant to warping, shrinking and splitting, while high-tensile coatings are used to provide a durable finished surface.

The timber is also moisture resistant, allowing it to cope with normal levels of atmospheric humidity.

However, Timber Eco is not waterproof. For bathrooms and other wet areas where shutters may experience regular or prolonged moisture exposure, Fauxwood is the recommended alternative.

Custom-Made for Your Windows

Every Timber Eco shutter installation is made to suit the individual dimensions and requirements of the property.

Available configurations include:

• Hinged plantation shutters
• Fixed shutters
• Bi-fold shutters
• Sliding shutters
• Bay window configurations
• Corner window configurations
• Selected shaped applications

This flexibility allows Timber Eco to be considered for everything from conventional bedroom windows through to larger architectural openings.

Premium Shutters for Gold Coast Homes

Timber Eco is particularly well suited to interiors where natural materials and quality finishes are central to the design.

Consider genuine timber shutters for premium renovations, architectural homes, new builds, coastal properties and sophisticated residential interiors.

They can work beautifully alongside timber flooring, natural stone, neutral interiors and quality cabinetry to create a warm and cohesive space.

Coordinate Timber Shutters with Your Flooring

One of the advantages of choosing your window furnishings through Award Carpets Gold Coast is the opportunity to consider them alongside your flooring.

A natural or stained timber shutter can be coordinated with engineered timber flooring, while painted Timber Eco shutters can complement carpet, laminate, hybrid and vinyl flooring.

Considering flooring and window furnishings together can help create a more deliberate and consistent interior, particularly during a renovation or new build.
